Aquaplay Scotland Activities Coasteering
We are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority and insured through Jardine Lloyd Thompson. Our instructors and leaders are highly experienced and qualified in the activities we provide. We have a passion for the outdoors and the exciting and emotional experiences this environment offers.Our Coasteering takes place on the rugged coastline at the Bow Fiddle Rock at Portknockie or alternatively on the rocky outcrops at Findochty both on the Moray Firth.
A mixture of swimming, rock scrambling and jumping into deep pools we use the ebb and flow of the tide to swim out to rocky islands and outcrops making a traverse under the cliffs. We take leaps of faith into the churning waters, scramble through a huge crack in the rocks and working as a team assess our moves before plunging back into the water. We finish the day at either the local cafe or ice cream shop in nearby Cullen.
This exciting activity challenges you physically as an individual and also requires good teamwork and communication to successfully negotiate both sea traverses.
