Personal Development

It has long been recognised that a training experience is much enhanced when delivered in the outdoors.  Our challenges and exercises in a natural and wet environment will test the individual and team members where they will be encouraged and supported by trained staff members.  We use top quality equipment, which allows us to operate throughout the year, regardless of the weather.

A variety of challenging activities are available to test and develop the leadership, teamwork, communication and risk assessing skills of any group.   



The activities, whilst great fun, also support and develop both the individual in terms of personal esteem/self worth and the group in terms of interpersonal relationships, communication, risk assessment, decision making and contributions to the team.

We strive to ensure events will be a positive experience where many of the lessons learned and skills gained can have far reaching impact. Our activities naturally develop the core skills of communication, problem solving, skill recognition, trust and working with others. This helps to enhance the participant’s personal skills, self-perception, confidence and trust in colleagues.

These processes adapt naturally to and conform to a variety of work contexts where the skills learned and developed enhance performance in the working environment.  

We facilitate the individual and group to achieve success in all of their activities, encouraging them to make valid safe decisions in reaching the goals and challenges set for them.  

We also believe that an appreciation of our outdoor environment and the challenges it offers produce healthier and more aware individuals.



The fun activities create a constructive learning environment with productive outcomes from which the employer will benefit back in the workplace.

How do we achieve the projected goals?
  • Provide a variety of activities which challenge the group.
  • Create situations where the participant’s comfort zones are extended.
  • Set achievable aims in terms of leadership, communication, teamwork and trust.
  • Provide detailed analysis of the group’s dynamics throughout the activity and give individual feedback to the participants.
  • Reflect and relate the outcomes to the workplace and discuss the benefits of this awareness.
On completion of a training activity, a written report will be submitted to you within 14 days from the date of the event.  This report will include the leader’s observations, the conclusions of the group following their debrief and their feedback on the effectiveness of their time spent with us.
